Psalms 25

1(Of Dovid) 1

2[Bais] O Elohai, I trust in Thee: 1 let me not be ashamed, 1 let not mine oyevim triumph over me. 1

3[Gimel] Yea, let none that wait [hoping in] Thee be ashamed; 1 let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. 1

4[Dalet] Show me Thy ways, Hashem; 1 teach me Thy paths. 1

5[Heh Vav] Lead me in Thy emes, and teach me; 1 for Thou art the Elohei of my Salvation; 1 on Thee do I wait kol hayom. 1

6[Zayin] Remember, Hashem, Thy rachamim and Thy lovingkindnesses; 1 for they have ever been of old. 1

7[Chet] Remember not the chattot of my youth, 1 nor my peysha'im; 1 according to Thy chesed remember Thou me 1 for the sake of Thy goodness, Hashem. 1

8[Tet] Tov and yashar is Hashem; 1 therefore will He teach chatta'im in the Derech. 1

9[Yod] The meek will He guide in mishpat; 1 and the aniyim will He teach His way. 1

10[Kaph] All the paths of Hashem are chesed and emes 1 unto such as keep His Brit (covenant) and His Edot 1 (covenant demands, urgings, reminders, testimonies). 1

11[Lamed] For the sake of Thy Shem, Hashem, 1 pardon mine iniquity; for it is great. 1

12[Mem] What man is he that feareth Hashem? 1 Him shall He teach in the Derech that he shall choose. 1

13[Nun] His nefesh (soul) shall dwell in prosperity; 1 and his zera shall inherit the earth. 1

14[Samech] The secret of Hashem is with them that fear Him; 1 and He will show them His Brit (covenant). 1

15[Ayin] Mine eyes are ever toward Hashem; 1 for He shall pluck my feet out of the reshet (net). 1

16[Peh] Turn Thee unto me, and be gracious unto me; 1 for I am yachid (alone, lonely) and afflicted. 1

17[Tzade] The tzoros of my lev are multiplied; 1 O bring Thou me forth out of my distresses. 1

18[Resh] Look upon mine affliction and my pain; 1 and take away all my chattot. 1

19[Resh] Look upon mine enemies; 1 for they are increased; and they hate me with sinas chamas. 1

20[Shin] Be shomer over my nefesh, and deliver me; 1 let me not be ashamed; for I take refuge in Thee. 1

21[Tav] Let tohm (integrity, guilelessness) and uprightness preserve me; 1 for I wait on Thee. 1

22Redeem Yisroel, O Elohim, 1 out of all his tzoros.
