Psalms 14

(For the one directing. Of Dovid) 1 They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, 1 ein oseh tov (there is none that doeth good). 1

Hashem looked down from Shomayim upon Bnei Adam, 1 to see if there is any with seichel, that seeketh Elohim. 1

They are all turned aside, they are all together become corrupt; 1 there is none that doeth tov, no, not one. 1

Have all the workers of iniquity no da'as? 1 Who eat up my people as they eat lechem, 1 and call not upon Hashem. 1

There they shall be in great dread, 1 for Elohim is with the dor tzaddik. 1

Would ye confound the etzah (counsel, plan) of the oni (poor), 1 for Hashem is indeed his refuge! 1

Oh that the Yeshu'ah (salvation) of Yisroel were come out of Tziyon! 1 When Hashem turns misfortune and brings back the captives of His people, 1 Ya'akov shall rejoice, and Yisroel shall be glad.
