2Hashem Adoneinu, 1 how excellent is Shimecha in kol ha'aretz, 1 Who hast set Thy glory above HaShomayim. 1
3Out of the mouth of olelim and infants 1 hast Thou established strength 1 because of Thine enemies, 1 that Thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. 1
4When I consider Thy heavens, the ma'asim of Thy fingers, 1 the yarei'ach and the kokhavim, which Thou hast ordained; 1
5What is enosh (mankind), that Thou art mindful of him? 1 And the ben adam, that Thou visitest him? 1
6For Thou hast made him a little lower than elohim, + 8:6 or Elohim, Gn 1:27 1 and hast crowned him with kavod and hadar. 1
7Thou madest him to have dominion over the ma'asim of Thy hands; 1 Thou hast put all things under his feet: 1
8All sheep and oxen, 1 yea, and the behemot sadeh; 1
9The fowl of the air, and the dag (fish) of the yam, 1 and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. 1
10Hashem Adoneinu, 1 how excellent is Shimecha in kol ha'aretz!
