Psalms 62
(For the one directing. According to Yedutun. Mizmor of Dovid) 1
Truly my nefesh waiteth silently + 62:2 in submission upon Elohim; 1 from Him cometh my Yeshu'ah (salvation). 1
Truly He is my Tzur and my Yeshu'ah (salvation); 1 He is my stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken. 1
How long will ye rush to attack an ish? 1 To thrust at, all of you, 1 as at a leaning kir (wall), 1 and as at a tottering gader (fence). 1
Truly they consult to bring down a person of prominence; 1 they delight in kazav (lie, falsehood, deceptive thing); 1 they make a brocha with their mouth, 1 but they curse inwardly. 1 Selah 1
Truly in Elohim wait silently, + 62:6 in submission my nefesh, 1 for my tikvah (hope) is from Him. 1
Truly He is my Tzur and my Yeshu'ah (salvation); 1 He is my stronghold; I shall not be shaken. 1
In Elohim is my salvation and my Kavod: 1 the Tzur of my strength, and my refuge, is in Elohim. 1
Trust in Him at all time ye people, 1 pour out your lev before Him; 1 Elohim is a refuge for us. 1 Selah 1
Truly Bnei Adam (those of low estate) are hevel (vanity), 1 and Bnei Ish (those who are highborn) are kazav (a lie); 1 they go up in the balances; 1 they are altogether lighter than hevel (vanity). 1
Trust not in oshek (oppression, extortion) 1 and become not vain in gazel (the thing taken as plunder); 1 if riches increase, 1 set not your lev upon them. 1
Elohim hath spoken once; 1 twice have I heard this; 1 that oz (strength) belongeth unto Elohim. 1
Also unto Thee, Adonoi, belongeth chesed; 1 for Thou renderest to ish (every man) according to his ma'asim (deeds).
